Gut Salad Recipe:

  • 1 daikon radish

  • 1 carrot

  • 4 red cabbage leaves

  • 1 green apple

  • 1 small handful of dandelion greens

  • 1/8 cup arame seaweed (available at Natural Grocers but you could use any seaweed you like the taste of)

  • 1/8 cup hemp seeds

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/8 cup olive oil

  • drizzle of honey

Chop everything up and toss together and enjoy!

 Paleo Reishi, Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2.5 cups almond flour

  • ½ teaspoon Celtic sea salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon Reishi extract powder (optional-I get this from Rebecca’s Apothecary)

  • ½ cup virgin melted coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon homemade vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 cup dried cherries and chocolate chips 

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl

  2. Stir together wet ingredients in a small bowl

  3. Mix wet ingredients into dry

  4. ​Cool dough in fridge for 20-30 mins

  5. Form 1 inch balls and press onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet 2 in. apart

  6. Bake at 350°F for 8-14 minutes (watch this closely, oven times vary and these get brown quickly)

  7. Cool and serve
