I specialize in overnight doula care to help you get deep restorative sleep.

You deserve loving, attentive postpartum overnight care.

Hi, I’m Sara Marie Miller.

I believe being supported will transform your life.

Growing up I remember seeing my mother struggle with her health and never putting herself first. I realized that a nurtured mother is the foundation of a healthy family.

I am obsessed with helping families to thrive by supporting women’s health and wellness.

I complete every doula, postpartum, nutrition and herbal course I can get my hands on to learn how I can support you better.

I’ve served over 23 families in the last 3 years and feel like I have found my life’s purpose-to help women and families to flourish!

Here’s how it works:

  • I arrive in the evening and take care of feedings, diaper changes, burping, and comforting the baby as needed until morning. If you are chest-feeding I bring your baby to you to nurse during the night.

  •  I make sure someone is attentive to the baby’s needs before I leave and I text you detailed notes from the evening. I’m happy to support you with sleep training if you would like.

  • Most families will reserve 1-3 months, starting when their baby is born. I am often booked 1-3 months in advance so connect soon to schedule a discovery call.

Timeline:

  • Often 1-4 months of ongoing support after the birth of the baby.

  • 1-5 nights a week depending on your needs and my availability.

  • Scheduled for 8-10 hours per night

  • Billed weekly

Investment:

$45/hr for singles

$60/hour for twins

To help keep everyone safe, healthy and happy, I am:

  • Covid-19 vaccinated and boosted

  • TDap vaccinated

  • Infant CPR certified

What Parents Are Saying:

“Sara is such a kind, calm, loving presence, and we felt totally comfortable trusting her with our baby. If you can afford it, it is the most helpful possible thing postpartum. She switched seamlessly from supporting breastfeeding to formula feeding with no judgement, and gave us lots of great advice on caring for our baby. When our baby got a little older, she starting working with her on longer stretches of sleep, and gave us advice on how to continue that. I'm not a first time mom, and we did eventually hire a postpartum doula with my first child to help us get some more sleep, and learn how to better care for the baby. This time I knew I wanted someone from the start, because the first few weeks are so hard, and getting some longer stretches of sleep can make such a huge difference. So I wasn't fearful about sleep deprivation, because I knew Sara would help us with that.” -Celia

“Sara is kind and nurturing to her very core, and is so sincere in her passion of helping babies sleep at night. Our baby has had trouble sleeping when he isn’t held, which made it impossible to sleep through the night. Sara allowed my husband and I to catch up on our rest. Knowing she was coming over was a huge relief for us, each and every night. I’d recommend Sara 100%, she was so responsible and she really cares about the baby’s wellbeing, she also wants to be helpful to the family however possible. She was a critical component to us getting our bearings as new parents. Just knowing that someone else was tending to my baby’s needs all night so I could sleep was priceless”

-Rosina

“Sara was absolutely brilliant with our preemie twins. She skillfully handled both of them and taught us quite a few things that helped us soothe them and helped us on our feeding and sleep journey with them. I’m convinced that they are giving us longer stretches of sleep now because of some tricks she taught us and the confidence I had in pursuing them because they worked so well for her! She was attentive to their individual needs and was a great communicator. Her warmth, respect and kindness towards us parents was greatly appreciated and we were sad we couldn’t have her more. She was a welcome ear. Those nights of sleep were so precious and having someone we totally trusted to handle things all night was invaluable. Do it if you can!” -Ariel
